There may be situations that, despite the efforts of the editors of the Portal, certain documents published on the page are unavailable due to the fact that:

  • they come from various sources,
  • they are very extensive, and their development took place in several organizational units, which made it impossible to influence their target content and shape (e.g. detailed descriptions of priority axes),
  • they have been published on the basis of rules adopted in another institution,
  • they were published before the Act on digital accessibility came into effect;
  • it is possible that some videos posted on the Portal may also lack subtitles or other required elements due to the fact that they were also published before the Act on digital accessibility came into effect or they come from external sources,
  • due to the system limitations on the Portal, the lang tag is not used by editors.

Content that’s not within the scope of the accessibility regulations

We will respond as soon as possible, no later than seven days after receiving the request.

If we need more time, we will inform you and specify a new deadline, not exceeding two months.

If we cannot ensure digital accessibility, we will propose an alternative way to access the content.

Enforcement Procedure

In case of an unsatisfactory response to a reported accessibility issue, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent authority.

Handling Accessibility Requests and Complaints

If we deny a request for digital accessibility and you disagree, you have the right to file a complaint. You can also file a complaint if you disagree with the alternative access method proposed.

Architectural accessibility

The building of the Ministry of Development Funds and Regional Policy, located in Warsaw at ul. Wspólna 2/4, has been adapted for use by people with disabilities by:

  • appropriate labeling,
  • elimination of architectural barriers,
  • likwidację barier komunikacyjnych,
  • enabling access to the office premises for people with disabilities,
  • use of ergonomic solutions.

In particular, the following measures were implemented:

  1. The entrance door to the Ministry building from Wspólna Street was marked to serve people with disabilities.
  2. In front of the Ministry building, 4 parking spaces for people with disabilities were marked in blue.
  3. In order to serve people with disabilities, a new counter was made in the office administration window with a sectional lowering of the countertop.
  4. Contrasting architectural elements were used by highlighting the reception desk and the application log.
  5. Guiding lines and attention fields were made in public areas from the entrance from Common Street to the building.
  6. Distinction of the beginning and end of all staircases was made, and a warning texture was applied before reaching the stairs on each floor.
  7. A ramp with handrails was made to allow wheelchair users with disabilities to access the Ministry building.
  8. An automatic opening door was installed at entrance number II from Wspólna Street to allow wheelchair-free access to the building.
  9. A stairlift was purchased to enable people with disabilities to access the large conference room No. 5114B on the 5th floor.
  10. A platform for people with disabilities has been installed on the 5th floor of the building in conference room No. 5114A.
  11. Elevator D1 has been adapted for people with disabilities by adding a seat.
  12. Additional sound signaling has been installed in elevator D1, including full voice announcements indicating the direction of travel, door opening/closing, and the floor at which the elevator has stopped.
  13. Three platforms have been installed to assist people with disabilities in overcoming stairs.
  14. Induction loops have been embedded in the floor of the Grażyna Gęsicka Conference Room and the reception area serving customers to enhance sound for hearing aid users.
  15. A portable ramp has been purchased for the Grażyna Gęsicka Conference Room, allowing a speaker with disabilities to access the podium with the lectern.
  16. An additional mobile induction loop has been purchased to enhance sound in conference rooms (room 1105, rooms 5114A and B), along with two portable induction loops for conversations between two or more people at a desk or table.
  17. As part of the Ministry building's modernization, eight bathrooms have been adapted to meet the needs of people with disabilities.
  18. Alarm systems have been installed in all restrooms designated for people with disabilities.
  19. A toilet seat with armrests has been installed in the restroom on the 4th floor to facilitate use by people with disabilities.
  20. Additional handrails have been installed in stairwells, as well as three handrails outside the building, in compliance with fire safety regulations.
  21. Evacuation chairs for people with disabilities and unconscious individuals have been purchased (bringing the total to 25 chairs).
  22. Elevators equipped with accessibility features for people with disabilities have been marked accordingly.
  23. Tactile maps have been created for selected restrooms (near the Grażyna Gęsicka Room, room 1105 on the 1st floor, rooms 5114A and B on the 5th floor, and the public restrooms located at the entrance from Żurawia Street).
  24. Audio beacons have been installed outside selected conference rooms (the Grażyna Gęsicka Room, room 1105 on the 1st floor, and rooms 5114A and B on the 5th floor) to provide information about room layouts. These beacons are compatible with the free INTONAVI app, which allows users to navigate to a selected beacon and access a description of the surrounding space.
  25. Audio beacons have also been installed at the building entrances on Żurawia and Wspólna Streets, informing visitors about the building entrance. These beacons are also compatible with the INTONAVI app, enabling users to determine a route to a selected beacon and familiarize themselves with the surrounding environment.
  26. On the ground floor, at the main entrance from Wspólna Street and the entrance from Żurawia Street, tactile maps have been installed to visually and tactually depict the layout of rooms in the public area (including Braille labels). These maps also feature NFC tags, allowing users to download digital layouts of the spaces presented on the tactile maps.

Communication and Information Accessibility

In order to effectively communicate with our office, people who are deaf or hard of hearing can:

  • use the Interpreter Migam (Tłumacz Migam) service, which allows video calls to a sign language interpreter from a web browser, mobile application and any device with a camera. This service is available on business days during office hours from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.,

  • contact by phone with the help of a third party at the phone number: 222 500 130,

 When contacting our office, a hearing-impaired person can also use the induction loop system at the main reception and in the Grażyna Gęsicka conference room.
